The specification of the Solidor door is unmatched in the composite door market thanks to the unique solid timber core construction of the doors. The 48mm deep doors are 10% thicker than their nearest competitors, helping make them more secure and energy efficient.

The doors are highly secure, thanks to the unique Avantis lock which carries the industries largest dead bolt. They also offer other high security locking mechanisms for French Doors, Stable Doors and have just launched the latest AV2 lock, which replicates the appearance of a traditional key operated rim lock on period doors, yet featuring high security multi-point locking.

Solidor offer the market’s largest range of colours and finishes and can offer you the option of a different colour inside and out. They have developed a colour range worthy of any home. The door frames can be chamfered or sculptured and these are available in 18 colour combinations.

Also within the Solidor range is the 'Nice Door Panel', range of PVCu panels. The industries first to offer a whole variety of colours, including Chartwell Green and French Grey. The door panels all have the benefit of 'Coolskin', the special heat reflective sheet minimises the amount of infra-red heat absorbed from the sun thereby reducing the amount of heat passing through to the base,eliminating warping, bowing and cracking. The base alone will withstand an extra 20 degrees Celsius, compared to other standard PVC sheets on the market. So it’s important to ask for a Nice Door Panels by name.
